About Us
Precious Verses
How It Began?
Precious Verses started off as a small Instagram page posting verses of Scripture on scenery photography backgrounds. Over the years it grew apparent the posts I created would work well as sets of prints, and I began to give out free sets of prints to those who asked for a specific post they liked. This soon became very popular and I started selling them in little packs of 5 through messaging. Especially when Covid-19 hit in March 2020, I had more time on my hands and decided to set up a little online form. Here I uploaded all the posts I had created, and anyone could select however many prints they wanted, and I would deliver them.
I began designing more prints with different styles, and again added these to the form too. One customer asked if they could have their print framed, I very happily organised that for them, and soon after, more would ask the same.
My brother and I spent the next few months developing a website from scratch that could hold all these prints and designs in one place. Within the first month of launching my new website, sales had flown through the roof and I constantly wanted to create new designs and new products.
After some time, I noticed there were so many incredible small businesses on Instagram that sold some amazing pieces of artwork and prints, but they only sold through messaging. I offered a number of businesses if I could upload their products to my website for free, they all very happily accepted. Within just a few months, 10 small businesses were now also selling on Precious Verses, and this number was continuing to grow.
Where We Are Now
And here we are today, setting up my first marketplace website that allows complete freedom for all the small businesses to customise their dashboard, see their orders and stats, and add as many products as they like. If you're interested in selling on Precious Verses as an established business, or even starting up and need a platform, sign up and I'd be delighted to share your products.
